Overview of 1 John 4:19-21
As we wrap up chapter 4 of 1 John, we will take the next three days to talk about verses 19-21. What truths from these verses do you use to encourage others? How are these verses encouraging to you?
1 John 4:19 rings a melody in my head of a VBS song we learned a couple of years ago...
These verses are encouraging to me reminding me that I never have a reason to harbor even the littlest resentment toward another person...if Christ loved me so much to save me, a sinner, how could I not share this love? Colossians 3:13 comes to mind when I read this!
Thanks as always for your encouragement through your radio and blog ministry!! Our family moved a couple of states south of the Mpls area a month ago....but I still try to listen to your show online and keep up with the blog when I am able! I miss WCTS for all the blessings and encouragement I could soak in here and there. I will continue to pray for this important ministry!
As we studied this passage we kept singing that chorus also! Music is such a huge help to keep God's truths in our heart and mind. Katie, we really appreciate your love for our Lord, His Word and your encouragement!
